Job Summary
To support the health care experience, the part-time Virginia Licensed Health Screener will conduct outreach to newly enrolled Medicaid members, complete initial health screenings, and connect members to appropriate care and services while working remotely from Virginia.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct outreach to newly enrolled members to complete initial health screenings
- Document screening results and connect members to providers and community resources
- Educate members about program benefits and available services
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience working with individuals enrolled in Medicaid programs
- 1+ years of experience conducting telephonic interactions with members or customers
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Access to a designated quiet workspace in the home to secure Protected Health Information (PHI)
