Job Summary
Offering a flexible schedule, the part-time Virginia Licensed Hospice Veterinarian will provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services to pet families in Alexandria and Arlington, focusing on compassionate end-of-life care without the constraints of a non-compete agreement.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver in-home hospice and euthanasia services with a focus on compassion and respect
- Manage a self-scheduled workload, ensuring availability for weekend shifts on a rotational basis
- Communicate professionally with pet families and team members while working independently in a mobile environment
Required qualifications
- DVM/VMD/BVMS degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle for mobile services
- Capability to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted
- Experience in end-of-life care and strong interpersonal skills
- Availability for weekend shifts as needed
