Job Summary
To support a dynamic labor and delivery unit, a Travel Virginia Licensed Labor Delivery RN will work onsite on a contract basis from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, providing care for patients during labor and delivery while managing various procedures and equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for laboring patients, including inductions and cesarean sections
- Utilize advanced monitoring equipment and maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and safety
Required qualifications
- Current Virginia RN license with experience in labor and delivery
- Certification in NRP and BLS; ACLS and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a labor and delivery setting
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
