Job Summary

To support student learning in Machining Technology, the part-time Virginia Licensed Machining Instructor will teach courses, provide feedback, and engage with students in classroom, remote, or online settings.

Key responsibilities:

• Create a learning environment that facilitates students' acquisition of knowledge and skills
• Align course activities with learning outcomes and employ active learning strategies to foster engagement
• Deliver instruction, conduct assessments, and hold office hours to support student success

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of five years of industry experience in machining
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to hands-on, student-centered instruction
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
• Experience with modern CNC equipment and CAM software
