Virginia Licensed Medical Director

Job Summary

To support a growing pediatric mental health practice, the full-time Virginia Licensed Medical Director will lead a team of psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners, overseeing both administrative and clinical aspects of care while ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting evidence-based treatment plans in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Medical Services Team by providing management and clinical oversight to ensure excellent patient care
• Oversee Clinical Excellence by developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the needs of children and adolescents
• Ensure Regulatory Compliance with all relevant behavioral health regulations and standards

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited nursing program
• PMHNP-BC certification and an active PMHNP/APRN license in Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Maryland
• At least 3 years of post-licensure experience as a PMHNP, including pediatric or adolescent mental health experience
• At least 3 years of experience in an administrative or leadership role in a behavioral health setting
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices in pediatric psychiatry
