Virginia Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mental Health Therapist (VA License) to provide virtual mental health care to K-12 students.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based virtual mental health counseling and therapeutic interventions to assigned students
• Conduct initial mental health assessments, create treatment plans, and perform ongoing assessments of student progress
• Collaborate with the care management team and ensure timely and accurate documentation of services provided

Required Qualifications

• Licensed as a LCSW, LMFT, or LPC without restrictions in Virginia and the state of residence
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a school-based setting or with school-aged children
• Ability to obtain an acceptable Fingerprint (FBI) Criminal Background check upon hire
• Strong technological skills and experience with telehealth preferred
• Bilingual proficiency in languages such as Spanish or Mandarin is a strong plus
