Job Summary

Focusing on the Tidewater Market, VA, the full-time remote Virginia Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer will originate and complete mortgage loan applications, design comprehensive business plans to increase sales, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process.

Key responsibilities

• Originates and completes loan applications while ensuring all required documentation is accurate and compliant
• Determines proper loan program placement and prices loans in accordance with company policy
• Maintains regular communication with clients and referral sources, tracking loan progress and meeting production requirements

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer or equivalent industry experience
• NMLS registration is required
• Proven ability to generate independent leads and communicate effectively with clients
• Strong knowledge of standard loan products and underwriting guidelines
