Job Summary

A company is looking for a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Explains procedures to patients and families to ensure cooperation and ease anxiety
  • Assists physicians in examinations using standard protocols and demonstrates proper injection techniques for radiopharmaceuticals
  • Recognizes clinical problems that may interfere with exams and takes appropriate action to resolve them
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • Full-time Day Shift: Monday-Friday with on-call and holiday rotations
  • Associate Degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program
  • Registered State Inspector in Virginia within 3 months of hire, if applicable
  • Certification as CNMT or ARRT-N within one year of hire; Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start
  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Student
