Job Summary
A company is looking for a Nursing Professional Development Specialist - Medical Surgical.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and standardize nursing education and professional development programs across assigned facilities and service lines
- Collaborate with nursing leaders and stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of educational initiatives and competency assessments
- Utilize data to monitor and report on program performance and advocate for necessary resources for clinical education
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Degree (Masters) in Nursing or a related field
- Registered Nurse licensure required; Nurse leader and/or professional development certification preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience, including 2 years in a leadership role
- Experience with Magnet and/or Pathways to Excellence recognition programs is preferred
- Expert writing and editing skills
