Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to promote coding excellence and compliant reimbursement practices
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required
  • Approximately three or more years of professional outpatient coding experience
  • Specialty focus preferred in areas such as Pulmonology, Hematology/Oncology, and Endocrinology
  • Experience with medical necessity, diagnosis specificity, and payer-specific requirements
