Virginia Licensed Outpatient Psychiatrist

Job Summary

To support a growing behavioral health practice, the full-time Virginia Licensed Outpatient Psychiatrist will provide high-quality care to children, adolescents, and young adults ages 5-21 in a fully remote outpatient setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and focusing on various mental health conditions.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct initial evaluations and follow-up appointments, managing patient care remotely
• Collaborate with a dedicated care team to ensure comprehensive treatment plans
• Utilize telehealth technology to deliver effective behavioral health services

Required qualifications:

• Completion of a 4-year ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency
• Active Virginia medical license preferred, but not required; licensing support available
• Availability for 40 hours per week, including one evening until 7:00 PM ET
• Experience treating children, adolescents, and young adults ages 5-21
• Telehealth experience preferred, with familiarity using Credible as a plus
