Virginia Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support efficient prescription processing, the full-time Virginia Licensed Pharmacy Technician will oversee data entry workflows, resolve processing issues, and maintain data integrity while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the data-entry workflow to ensure 100% of orders are processed within 24 hours
• Resolve escalated processing issues through root-cause analysis and cross-functional coordination
• Train and coach the team on effective communication and accuracy in data entry procedures

Required qualifications

• Active pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) and licensure in Virginia
• 1-2 years of experience in pharmacy or healthcare-related data entry (preferred)
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and responsible handling of sensitive patient information
• Proficiency in pharmacy software and systems for optimizing workflows
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with team members and healthcare providers
