Job Summary
To support a growing mission-driven organization, the part-time contract Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) will provide holistic psychiatric care to perinatal, perimenopausal, and menopausal patients through a fully remote telehealth model, averaging 5-10 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to women during reproductive life stages via telehealth
- Collaborate with clients' therapists to prioritize clinical quality in care delivery
- Conduct intake and follow-up sessions, utilizing clinical judgment to determine session lengths
Required qualifications
- Active Board Certified Virginia PMHNP license in good standing
- Minimum one year of experience as a PMHNP working with the perinatal population
- At least six months of telehealth experience
- Solid understanding of mood and anxiety disorders, and psychiatric care considerations during perinatal and menopausal periods
- Adaptable and motivated to grow within an early-stage startup environment
