Job Summary
Offering a part-time opportunity, the Virginia Licensed PMHNP will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to children, teens, and young adults through telehealth, practicing independently without an MD collaboration agreement while collaborating with a supportive interdisciplinary team.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop diagnostic formulations
- Create individualized treatment plans and prescribe/manage psychotropic medications
- Collaborate with therapists and care coordinators through case consultation and care planning
Required qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Virginia PMHNP license
- PMHNP-BC board certification
- Active DEA license
- Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited PMHNP program
- Experience working with children, adolescents, or families preferred
