Job Summary

A company is looking for an Authorization Coordinator/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Key Responsibilities

Review clinical information from providers to authorize services based on clinical protocols
Validate member benefits and insurance enrollment information prior to authorizing services
Ensure accurate information is entered into the claims system for payment processing

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required; LPN Diploma or Associate Degree in Practical Nursing preferred
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
Minimum of 3 years of related experience
Experience in health plan or utilization management preferred
Familiarity with JIVA and Milliman Care Guidelines (MCG) preferred
