Job Summary

A company is looking for an Authorization Coordinator/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Key Responsibilities

• Review clinical information from providers to authorize services based on clinical protocols
• Validate member benefits and insurance enrollment information prior to service authorization
• Ensure accurate information is entered into the claims system for payment processing

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Graduate or equivalent required; LPN Diploma or Associate Degree preferred
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience
• Experience in health plan or utilization management preferred
• Familiarity with JIVA and Milliman Care Guidelines (MCG) preferred
