Virginia Licensed Preservice RN

Job Summary

To support the healthcare needs of Virginia residents, the part-time Virginia Licensed Preservice RN will manage authorization reviews and entries for HCBS services, communicate with providers, and gather clinical information while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct authorization review and entry for HCBS authorizations using Virginia-specific criteria
• Review state-specific documents required for HCBS services and communicate with HCBS providers
• Gather clinical information to assess and expedite care needs, consulting with Care Managers and Medical Directors as necessary

Required qualifications:

• Unrestricted, active RN license
• 3+ years of RN experience in an acute setting
• Experience in utilization management, prior authorization, and case management
• Managed care experience
• Ability to use Microsoft Word and navigate a Windows environment
