Virginia Licensed Production Assistant

Job Summary

Supporting a Loan Officer in a standard office environment, the full-time Virginia Licensed Production Assistant will ensure timely closing of loan files by managing communication with operations staff and customers while handling various loan documentation tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Order initial third-party services such as appraisals and title verifications
• Manage the TBD pre-approved pipeline to maximize capture rates
• Collect, review, and submit client documentation and loan conditions from ratification to close

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the mortgage industry preferred
• An active NMLS license required; Virginia state licensed MLO preferred but not mandatory
• Familiarity with mortgage terminology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is preferred
• Willingness to cover upfront originations as needed
