Job Summary

A company is looking for an Independent Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for Telehealth services.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete intake assessments for new clients and progress notes in EHR
• Prescribe and manage medications, monitor psychiatric stability, and request labs as needed
• Collaborate with therapists and communicate with the administrative team for client care

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Current Virginia Board of Nursing and Virginia Board of Medicine license to practice independently as a PMHNP with prescriptive authority
• Current DEA registration
• Experience in outpatient mental health practice and providing Telehealth services
• Proficient in using technology and software for medical responsibilities
• Experience in documenting in medical records and interacting with patients regarding clinical issues
