Virginia Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To support a growing virtual psychiatry practice, the full-time Virginia Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide remote outpatient psychiatric care, managing lower to moderate acuity populations while enjoying clinical autonomy and minimal administrative burden.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management for patients
• Provide psychoeducation and supportive therapy within established clinical standards
• Utilize electronic medical records for accurate and efficient documentation of care

Required qualifications

• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority in Virginia
• Minimum of 3 years post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP
• Experience delivering outpatient psychiatric care
• Comfort practicing in a fully remote, telepsychiatry-based model
