Job Summary
To shape the future of pediatric psychiatric care, the fully remote Virginia Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Director will develop, implement, and manage the PMHNP Residency Program, creating a structured training pathway for recent graduates while mentoring them through their clinical journey.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop the residency program structure, including curriculum and evaluation systems
- Lead accreditation efforts and ensure compliance with relevant standards
- Mentor and train residents, fostering their growth into confident practitioners
Required qualifications:
- Master's Degree from an accredited nursing program
- PMHNP-BC certification and active PMHNP/APRN license in Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Maryland
- At least 3 years of experience as a CRNP and 1 year in an educational or leadership role in behavioral health
- Strong clinical skills in pediatric psychiatry and knowledge of evidence-based practices
- Demonstrated ability to train and develop medical professionals effectively
