Virginia Licensed Referral Coordinator

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare practice, the full-time Virginia Licensed Referral Coordinator will manage scheduling, referral authorization, and medical record maintenance remotely, ensuring efficient coordination of care and providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensures timely scheduling of patient visits, testing, procedures, and surgeries according to established procedures
• Maintains knowledge of clinical information systems for patient scheduling and registration functions
• Verifies referral and authorization requirements, completing the referral process within required timeframes

Required qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and 4 years of experience required
• Virginia MLTSS (UAI) Certification required, to be maintained throughout employment
• Experience in a healthcare practice setting preferred
• Advanced computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational skills required
