Job Summary
A company is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) Trauma Registrar.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintains data integrity through regular quality checks and database maintenance
- Ensures compliance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements related to the trauma registry
- Develops and compiles reports and assists in training others on registry functions
Required Qualifications
- Full-time dayshift schedule, Monday - Friday; 8am - 5pm (with some flexibility)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree; BSN preferred
- 2 years of clinical experience, particularly with trauma patients
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Virginia upon hire
