Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Officer.

Key Responsibilities

• Enforce college, local, and state rules and regulations
• Conduct foot and vehicular patrols, inspect assigned areas, and document incidents
• Monitor surveillance cameras, respond to emergencies, and provide security for special events

Required Qualifications

• Considerable experience in a security or law enforcement environment
• Campus Security Officer Certification required or must be obtained within 180 days of hire
• A valid Virginia driver's license and satisfactory driving record are required
• Experience providing excellent customer service
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
