Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Officer III.

Key Responsibilities

• Enforce college, local, and state policies, procedures, and regulations
• Conduct inspections, document incidents, and secure campus buildings and facilities
• Respond to emergencies and provide security support for college-sponsored events

Required Qualifications

• Considerable experience in a security or law enforcement environment
• Campus Security Officer Certification required or must be obtained within 180 days of hire
• Valid Virginia driver's license and satisfactory driving record
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and various shifts
• Successful completion of a criminal background check
