Virginia Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Overseeing accounting and reporting for the Company's investments, the full-time Virginia Licensed Senior Accountant will manage the reconciliation of investment holdings, prepare financial statements, and assist with SEC filings in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile e-investment holdings and activity to supporting reports and custodial accounts
• Prepare quarter-end financial reporting packages and schedules, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assist with the Company's SEC filings and participate in budgeting and forecasting projects

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• Knowledge of GAAP and Statutory Accounting Standards
• Experience with investment accounting and SEC reporting is a plus
