Job Summary
Overseeing accounting and reporting for the company's investments, the full-time Virginia Licensed Senior Accountant will reconcile investment holdings, manage the private investment portfolio, and prepare financial reporting packages while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Reconcile e-investment holdings and manage accounting for the private investment portfolio
- Prepare monthly close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Assist with SEC filings, NAIC statements, and participate in budgeting and forecasting projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Experience in the Property and Casualty insurance industry is a plus
- Investment accounting experience preferred
