Job Summary

Managing the Help Hub team, the full-time Coordinator of Continuing Student Advising will oversee professional and transfer advisors while providing holistic support to students, including those affiliated with the Virginia Foster Care System, and may require evening or weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the management of professional and transfer advisors to ensure personalized advising support for students
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to assist students in overcoming barriers to their educational success
• Supervise the Great Expectations Program team, providing academic, financial, and personal support to students from the Virginia Foster Care System

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Master's degree in student affairs, higher education, counseling, or a related field preferred
• Prior experience in a college or university setting
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft, EAB Navigate, Canvas, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite
• Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and telework as needed
