Job Summary

A company is looking for a Student Success Advisor to provide academic advising and coaching to students in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide proactive academic advising and coaching to students from matriculation through graduation
• Support students in developing academic plans, course registration, and connecting with resources for persistence and retention
• Monitor academic progress and intervene with targeted support to address barriers to success

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in higher education or a related field, or a Master's degree in an unrelated field with relevant experience
• Considerable experience as an academic advisor, preferably in an online setting
• Knowledge of legal guidelines and core values relevant to academic advising
• Experience with information technology tools for online collaboration and student support
• Ability to work remotely and adapt to time zone differences when serving students worldwide
