Job Summary

A company is looking for a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (Contractor).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide services as determined by students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and maintain compliance with regulations
• Instruct students and families in communication strategies and technologies to enhance educational outcomes
• Document student progress and maintain organized records for compliance and reference

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a public school environment as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH)
• State-specific educator license in Deaf and Hard of Hearing or related field
• Ability to work independently with availability during typical school hours
• Experience teaching in an online/virtual environment
• Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)
