Job Summary

A company is looking for a Thoracic Oncology APP.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for oncology program patients and providers, managing referrals and initial consults
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans and coordinate tumor board presentations
• Provide education and support to patients throughout their cancer journey, ensuring effective communication across the care continuum

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Current Virginia State Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) and DEA license required
• AHA BLS-HCP certification and Advanced Life Support certification required
• Eligible for prescriptive authority in accordance with state regulations
• Able to work collaboratively with healthcare providers and demonstrate computer literacy
