Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Senior Title Examiner will examine public records and legal documents to determine the legal status of property titles, identifying defects and ensuring compliance with industry regulations, while working both remotely and onsite in Virginia.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough examinations of property titles to identify defects, restrictions, or encumbrances
• Write preliminary reports and coverage-specific guarantees in accordance with title insurance practices and state guidelines
• Collaborate with clients, attorneys, and stakeholders to resolve title issues and ensure accurate documentation

Required qualifications:

• Virginia Licensed Title Examiner with a minimum of 5 years of title examination experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of reading legal descriptions and reviewing complex legal documents
• Proficiency in real property computer database programs and title examination software
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy in reviewing title documents
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines effectively
