Job Summary

A company is looking for a Trauma Registrar in Pediatric Trauma Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Trauma Registry database through data abstraction and medical record analysis
• Conduct first-level medical record reviews and collect relevant patient data in accordance with guidelines
• Participate in community education and outreach activities, including organizing presentations and events

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Health Information Management or a related field
• Accredited Records Technician (ART) and/or Trauma Registrar certification preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and human anatomy/physiology
• Thorough understanding of ICD-9 codes and experience with medical records databases
