Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Underwriting who will oversee a team of underwriters to acquire and retain profitable accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire and retain profitable property, casualty, and workers compensation accounts through sound underwriting principles
• Oversee a team of underwriters and associate underwriters promoting sales of P&C products
• Ensure compliance with company policies while managing underwriting activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or a related field
• Minimum six years of commercial, multi-line, P&C marketing and underwriting experience
• Two years of prior supervisory or team leadership experience
• Excellent knowledge of the independent agency system
• Hands-on underwriting technical experience
