Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of Allied Healthcare business, the full-time Virginia Licensed Underwriting Specialist will underwrite, retain, and expand existing accounts while driving profitable growth in a hybrid or remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and qualify risks by identifying exposures, hazards, and appropriate controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive insurance solutions
• Utilize internal insights and external market data to make informed risk decisions

Required qualifications

• Virginia Underwriting Specialist license
• Strong technical underwriting expertise in the Allied Healthcare sector
• Proven experience in managing and growing a portfolio of accounts
• Ability to work autonomously within a standard letter of authority
• Sales mindset with a focus on driving profitable growth
