Virginia Licensed Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To support a growing virtual care practice, the part-time Virginia Licensed Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner will conduct virtual exams, evaluate and treat a wide range of conditions, and collaborate with healthcare teams while managing a flexible schedule that includes evening and weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct age-appropriate history and virtual exams for patients of all ages
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of conditions while developing and documenting treatment plans
• Manage acute, chronic, and mental health conditions, providing patient education and counseling as needed

Required qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Master's or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program
• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with maintained Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC
• Minimum of 3+ years post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings
• Active multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred)
