Job Summary

A company is looking for a Utilization Review Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN.

Key Responsibilities

Collects and analyzes performance data related to healthcare services and outcomes
Collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure effective patient management and care coordination
Acts as an advocate for patients, resolving barriers to care progression and ensuring adherence to policies and standards

Required Qualifications

BSN from an accredited school of nursing; ADN holders must complete BSN within 5 years
Minimum of 1 year of clinical bedside nursing experience
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required upon start
Previous experience in RN utilization review and advanced computer skills preferred
