Virginia Licensed Utilization Review RN

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Utilization Review Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze data related to performance indicators and resource utilization
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to manage patient care and ensure adherence to policies and standards
• Advocate for patients to resolve barriers to care progression and communicate with interdisciplinary teams regarding care plans

Required Qualifications:

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing; ADN holders must complete BSN within 5 years
• Minimum of 1-year clinical bedside nursing experience as a Registered Nurse
• Current RN license in the State of Virginia or privilege to practice under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required upon start
• Preferred: One year of experience in RN utilization review and advanced computer skills
