Virginia Licensed Utilization Review RN

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Utilization Review Registered Nurse (RN).

Key Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes performance data to drive practice changes and improve patient outcomes
• Collaborates with healthcare teams to manage patient care and ensure adherence to policies and standards
• Acts as a patient advocate to resolve barriers to care progression and monitors resource utilization

Required Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing; ADN must be completed within 5 years
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical bedside nursing experience as a Registered Nurse
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia or holds a privilege to practice under the eNLC
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon start
• Preferred: 2 years of experience in RN utilization review and advanced computer skills
