Virginia Licensed Workers Compensation Claims Representative

Job Summary

To process low-level Medical Only Workers Compensation claims for a dedicated client, the full-time Virginia Licensed Workers Compensation Claims Representative will analyze and resolve claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate with claimants and clients while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims to achieve timely resolutions through investigation and information gathering
• Negotiating settlements of claims within designated authority
• Communicating claim activity and processing updates with claimants and clients

Required qualifications

• 2 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
• Knowledge of Virginia jurisdiction required
