Job Summary
To analyze Virginia Lost Time Workers Compensation claims on behalf of clients, the full-time Workers Compensation Lost Time Benefit Coordinator will adjudicate complex claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate with claimants and clients while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and process claims through action plans to ensure timely resolutions
- Negotiate settlement of claims within designated authority
- Communicate claim activity and processing with claimants and clients
Required qualifications
- 4 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
- Knowledge of Virginia jurisdictional regulations
