Virginia Literacy Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part-time Literacy Strategy Consultant and Instructor.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage implementation and influence strategy for client projects, including tracking progress and making strategic decisions
• Build client capacity and cultivate relationships, developing tools and facilitating professional learning sessions
• Contribute to the creation of high-quality, data-driven reports demonstrating the team's impact on contract goals

Required Qualifications

• Experience working with leaders at school districts or CMOs, supporting complex organizational change efforts
• Knowledge of content and instruction with at least three years of Pre-K-12 teaching experience, preferably in high-need schools
• Experience with the Science of Reading and a proven track record of success in teaching or leading with high-quality instructional materials
• Previous experience developing and facilitating adult learning/training
• Excellent project management skills and ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment
