Virginia LPC Clinical Supervisor
Job Summary
To support the development of future clinicians, the part-time Remote Virginia LPC Clinical Supervisor will oversee Residents in Counseling providing teletherapy services, ensuring high-quality care while mentoring and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group supervision sessions in compliance with Virginia Board of Counseling requirements
- Review and approve clinical documentation, including treatment plans and progress notes
- Guide case conceptualization and provide real-time support for crisis situations
Required qualifications
- Fully licensed LPC with active approval from the Virginia Board of Counseling to supervise Residents in Counseling
- Experience in providing clinical supervision or mentoring to emerging clinicians
- Strong understanding of teletherapy practices and ethical standards in mental health care
- Ability to collaborate effectively with school counselors and community partners
