Virginia Windows Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a VDOT Windows Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the Microsoft Windows Server/Desktop environment
- Manage over 150 compute servers hosted in Azure and 250 Windows desktops using Group Policy/Active Directory
- Assist in maintaining, tuning, and hardening the Microsoft 365 E5 solution and manage the Rubrik Backup solution
Required Qualifications and Education
- 8-10 years of experience in a relevant field
- In-depth knowledge and experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
- Experience with Azure IaaS is a plus
- Experience in the tolling industry is required
- Must be able to travel to Clifton Forge, VA once every 45-60 days for staff meetings
