Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster for the VA jurisdiction.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims to achieve timely resolutions through investigation and information gathering
• Negotiate settlements of claims within designated authority
• Communicate claim activity and processing updates to claimants and clients

Required Qualifications

• 4 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
• Knowledge of Virginia Workers Compensation jurisdiction required
• Ability to work flexibly and autonomously in a telecommuting environment
