Job Summary

An online public charter school has a current position open for a Telecommuting 2018 to 2019 School Year 6th to 8th Grade Math Teacher.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the knowledge of students
  • Use accomplished pedagogical expertise to execute lessons aligned to state standards
  • Deliver instruction to generate further student inquiry to promote problem-solving

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Occasional district and statewide travel
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Valid Texas Teacher Certification in your area of instruction
  • 1-3 years of teaching experience in a Texas Public School
  • Successfully complete a professional development course or program approved by the VSN
