Virtual Access & Reimbursement Manager

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contracted basis, the Virtual Access & Reimbursement Manager will support patient access by educating provider offices on payer requirements and reimbursement processes, while managing territory access plans and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Educate healthcare providers and office staff on access services and reimbursement solutions specific to cardiovascular products
• Develop and execute territory access plans, prioritizing accounts based on client-defined objectives
• Monitor payer policy and trends, communicating relevant insights to internal stakeholders to enhance patient access support

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Managed Care, Field Reimbursement, Patient Services, or healthcare provider office management
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Experience with Retail and Specialty Pharmacies, including knowledge of prior authorizations and claims resolution
• Advanced knowledge of medical insurance terminology and familiarity with CMS policies
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with internal partners and effectively collaborate in teams
