Job Summary

A company is looking for a Virtual Access Specialist to educate healthcare providers about patient access and reimbursement related to prescription-based psychiatry.

Key Responsibilities

• Educate healthcare providers on patient support programs and reimbursement processes
• Develop and maintain relationships with providers while facilitating communication with stakeholders
• Identify payer trends and take ownership of process improvement initiatives to enhance patient access strategies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business, or equivalent preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in account management, payer account management, or access and reimbursement
• Thorough understanding of payer policy processes and documentation for coverage and prior authorization
• Comprehensive understanding of commercial and governmental payer access dynamics
• Ability to navigate cross-matrix environments and utilize critical thinking for optimal resource allocation
