Virtual Access Specialist

Job Summary

To support healthcare providers in navigating patient access and reimbursement, the full-time Virtual Access Specialist will educate HCPs about AbbVie's patient support programs and payer policies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Educate healthcare providers on patient support programs and reimbursement processes using AbbVie approved tools
• Develop and maintain relationships with providers, facilitating effective communication regarding prescription status and program eligibility
• Identify payer trends and collaborate with internal teams to enhance patient access strategies and process improvements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business, or a related field preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in account management, payer account management, or access and reimbursement
• Thorough understanding of payer policy processes and coverage criteria
• Demonstrated knowledge of reimbursement support services regulations and risks
• Ability to navigate cross-matrix environments and prioritize workloads effectively
