Job Summary
Managing a sales territory of existing accounts within the Food Manufacturing space, the fully remote Virtual Account Representative will achieve assigned sales quotas through new business acquisition and maintaining existing spend while engaging with customers via regular sales calls.
Key responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their business goals and ingredient needs, identifying opportunities for growth
- Monitor buying patterns to secure existing business re-orders and manage a new product opportunity pipeline
- Uncover competitive pricing intel and customer pain points to negotiate and win new business
Required qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience in a B2B environment & HS Diploma/GED
- Experience with food or nutra chemical ingredients is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop successful business relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and CRM platforms such as Salesforce.com
- Well-honed listening and problem-solving skills to address customer needs
